We recently returned home from our vacation to Sanibel Island, Fl. with the whole Martin clan. We stayed in a 3 bedroom/2bath house with a screened in hot tub/pool area that looked out to a lagoon.
We spent several days at the beach. The water was so warm and clear! It was absolutely beautiful!
Belly tried to eat the sand and drink the water. She is truly a water baby!
We also were able to enjoy many restaurants on the island. Two of which were owned by my father-in-law's friend, Matt.
We played miniature golf and found out that those who talked alot of trash didn't do so well while those who have never played got more than one hole-in-one!
The sunsets were beautiful.....
the company was great.....
and it was a vacation that we will never forget!! Thanks Ten-Man!
After several days and sleepless nights we have finally finished putting together our new bedroom set! Our previous room consisted of random pieces of furniture from random people. We went to Ikea when it opened and fell in love with the Malm bedroom set. Little did we know when we took it home how hard it would be to put together. The first night we were up until 4am and only had the bed put together. I understand now why it is so inexpensive. They just put some wood and screws in a box and you have to figure out how it all goes together! Well, with a little, and I mean little, help from Butter I finally figured it out and three days later here it is! We love it and I haven't slept this good in a long time!
